I just wasn\u2019t happy with it, simple as that,\u201d she wrote on Instagram. \u201cOnce Mike and I began the wedding planning process I thought of every single detail, especially how we both would look in our wedding photos that we\u2019d share and cherish forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe thought of the profile shots just didn\u2019t sit well with what I was envisioning,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After giving the idea of going under the knife \u201cA LOT of thought and research,\u201d Lauren made the decision \u201cto do something I\u2019ve wanted ever since I was 15.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren explained that her biggest concern about getting her nose fixed was that her appearance would be drastically changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wanted to still look like myself, just a slightly improved version! If you\u2019re going for that natural look, Dr. Tutela is your surgeon!\u201d she shared, giving her surgeon Dr. John Paul Tutela a shout-out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her reflection on why getting work done was right for her, Lauren shared a slideshow of images documenting her\u00a0recovery process, as well as how her nose looks now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMike and I stayed at The Plaza for a few days after my surgery, never thought I\u2019d enjoy the recovery process so much,\u201d she quipped, adding a crying with laughter emoji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for why she decided to open up about her experience now, Lauren explained that she wanted to be \u201copen and honest about facial plastic surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve come to a point where it seems acceptable to talk about boob jobs but when it comes to facial, it\u2019s still taboo \u2013 even in 2019!\u201d she wrote. \u201cI absolutely love my results and by sharing my experience &amp; Dr. I\u2019m hoping to help break the stigma and be a resource to those of you interested!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren went on to encourage all of her fans who have questions about getting their noses done to comment on the post, as she and her surgeon will be sitting down to film a YouTube video together soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThank you all for listening,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lauren previously opened up about her decision to get plastic surgery in October 2018 \u2014 nearly a month before her nuptials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve wanted to do this since I was about 15,\u201d she told\u00a0<em>Page Six<\/em>. \u201cOnce we got engaged in February, I knew it was the best timing for me to get this done before our big day.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: people.com Mike \u201cThe Situation\u201d Sorrentino\u2019s wife\u00a0Lauren\u00a0decided to undergo a plastic surgery procedure before\u00a0walking down the aisle.
