Corrections Policy

How to Report an Error

If you believe you have found an error in our content, please contact us at corrections@mymedicplus.com with: the page URL, a description of the error, and supporting evidence or sources if available.

Correction Process

  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting): Corrected within 48 hours without a correction note.
  • Substantive corrections (factual errors, outdated statistics): Corrected within 5 business days. A correction note is added to the page documenting what was changed and when.
  • Medical errors (incorrect clinical information): Immediately flagged for urgent medical review. Corrected within 24–48 hours with a prominent correction notice.

Correction Notes

When a substantive or medical correction is made, we add a note at the bottom of the article stating: the date of correction, a brief description of what was changed, and the reason for the change.

Content Updates

Routine content updates (adding new research, refreshing statistics) are not considered corrections and are noted as "Updated" with the date. These do not receive correction notes.
