Dr. Farhad Huseynov

Dr. Farhad Huseynov is a Fellow of the European Academy of Neurology (FEAN) practicing at the Central Clinical Hospital in Baku, Azerbaijan's premier public tertiary care facility. With 16 years of clinical neurological experience, he is recognised as one of the leading neurologists in the South Caucasus region. His practice encompasses acute stroke management, epilepsy monitoring and treatment, and the management of neuroimmunological conditions such as multiple sclerosis. Dr. Huseynov established Baku's first dedicated stroke thrombolysis protocol at Central Clinical Hospital, significantly improving time-to-treatment metrics for acute ischaemic stroke patients. Dr. Huseynov graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University in Baku before completing his neurology residency and PhD in clinical neuroscience.
