Dr. Milan Milošević is a senior neurosurgeon at the Clinical Centre University of Sarajevo (KCUS), Bosnia and Herzegovina's primary neurosurgical referral center. With 17 years of surgical experience, he has performed over 2,000 cranial and spinal procedures and is among Bosnia and Herzegovina's most experienced neurosurgeons.
Dr. Milošević completed a neurosurgical fellowship at the University Hospital Graz in Austria, gaining training in microsurgical brain tumor surgery and minimally invasive spine procedures. His Austrian training gave him exposure to Western European neurosurgical standards that he brought back to the Bosnian healthcare system.
He leads the spinal surgery program at KCUS and has been instrumental in introducing neuronavigation-guided surgery for brain tumors. He is an EANS member and participates in Balkan neurosurgery educational networks.
Dr. Milošević is committed to advancing neurosurgical standards in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to training younger surgeons. He is an associate professor at the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Milošević received his MD from the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his neurosurgery residency at KCUS and undertook a neurosurgical fellowship at the University Hospital Graz (LKH-Univ. Klinikum Graz), Austria (2009–2010). His PhD from the University of Sarajevo in 2013 focused on outcomes in minimally invasive lumbar surgery. He is a member of EANS and is certified by the Medical Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina in neurosurgery.

Dr. Milošević's surgical expertise spans cranial and spinal neurosurgery. In spinal surgery, he performs microscopic discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, and cervical spine procedures. In brain tumor surgery, he performs craniotomies with neuronavigation for gliomas, meningiomas, and metastatic tumors. He manages cerebral aneurysms in collaboration with interventional neuroradiologists, and treats hydrocephalus with shunting procedures. He also manages complex neurotrauma cases presenting to the KCUS emergency service.
