Dr. Aminata Traoré

Dr. Aminata Traoré is an endocrinologist at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Yalgado Ouédraogo (CHU-YO) — the main university teaching hospital in Ouagadougou and one of Burkina Faso's premier medical institutions. With 11 years of clinical experience, she addresses the growing burden of non-communicable endocrine diseases in Burkina Faso, where diabetes and thyroid disorders are increasingly prevalent alongside the country's traditional infectious disease burden. As one of the relatively few specialist endocrinologists in a country with limited specialist medical infrastructure, she manages a large and diverse patient panel.
