Dr. Aizat Bekova

Dr. Aizat Bekova is an emergency medicine specialist at the National Scientific Centre of Surgery in Astana — Kazakhstan's capital city hospital and one of the country's leading academic medical institutions. With 12 years of clinical experience, she is one of Astana's experienced emergency physicians managing life-threatening conditions across a broad clinical spectrum.

For cardiac emergencies, she manages acute coronary syndromes, cardiac arrest with ACLS protocols, and life-threatening arrhythmias. For trauma, she applies ATLS principles to polytrauma assessment including primary and secondary survey, haemorrhage control, and damage-control resuscitation.

For neurological emergencies, she provides rapid assessment for acute stroke, applies thrombolysis criteria for ischaemic stroke, and manages status epilepticus. For respiratory emergencies, she manages respiratory failure with non-invasive and invasive ventilation and performs emergency intubation.
