Dr. Berisha received his MD from the University of Pristina Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He completed his cardiology residency training partly at the UCCK and partly at the University Hospital Center Mother Teresa in Tirana, Albania (2010–2011). He undertook an echocardiography fellowship at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), Switzerland (2015). His PhD from the University of Pristina in 2014 focused on left ventricular hypertrophy and cardiovascular risk in hypertensive patients. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology.
