Dr. Bakyt Sydykov

Dr. Bakyt Sydykov is a senior consultant physician at the National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek — the country's principal public tertiary care hospital and the main referral center for complex internal medicine cases from across Kyrgyzstan. With 18 years of clinical practice, Dr. Sydykov is one of Kyrgyzstan's most experienced internists, providing specialist evaluation and management for the chronic non-communicable diseases that dominate the adult patient population.

Kyrgyzstan faces significant challenges in healthcare delivery: limited specialist access outside Bishkek, resource constraints affecting diagnostic capabilities, and a population with high rates of cardiovascular risk factors including hypertension, smoking, dyslipidemia, and rising rates of type 2 diabetes.
