Dr. Jānis Ozoliņš

Dr. Jānis Ozoliņš is a senior interventional cardiologist at Paula Stradiņa Clinical University Hospital in Riga, Latvia's largest and most prestigious academic hospital and the primary cardiovascular referral center for the country. His PhD from Riga Stradins University in 2010 focused on long-term outcomes after primary PCI in Latvian STEMI patients. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and is certified by the Latvian Medical Association in internal medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Ozoliņš specializes in interventional cardiology including primary PCI for acute MI, elective coronary angioplasty, complex coronary interventions, and FFR-guided PCI. He performs comprehensive echocardiography and manages heart failure including device therapy coordination. He manages the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease including hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and valvular heart disease.
