Dr. Anthony Charles Fevrier

Dr. Anthony Charles Fevrier is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Owen King EU Hospital in Castries, Saint Lucia's newest and most advanced hospital facility. With 18 years of specialist experience, FRCS (Plastics) qualifications, and fellowship from the Caribbean College of Surgeons, he provides the full spectrum of reconstructive and burns surgery services for Saint Lucia and the wider Eastern Caribbean. His subspecialty interests in reconstructive surgery, burns surgery, and hand surgery reflect the complex surgical needs of an island population and the trauma and burn injury burden in the Caribbean region. He is one of the most highly qualified plastic surgeons in the Eastern Caribbean.

Dr. Fevrier completed his MBBS followed by specialist surgical training leading to the FRCS (Plastics) qualification — the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery — a highly competitive and internationally recognised credential. He underwent rotations at major burns and plastic surgery units, gaining experience in acute burns management, skin grafting, flap reconstruction, and hand surgery. He subsequently became a Fellow of the Caribbean College of Surgeons, reflecting peer recognition of his clinical contributions in the region. He participates in the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and Caribbean surgical CME programmes.

Dr. Fevrier's surgical practice encompasses all domains of plastic and reconstructive surgery. His reconstructive expertise includes post-cancer soft tissue reconstruction using local, regional, and free flaps, repair of congenital anomalies, and scar revision surgery. His burns surgery practice covers emergency burn management including escharotomy, skin grafting with split-thickness and full-thickness grafts, and reconstruction of burn contractures. His hand surgery includes repair of flexor and extensor tendon injuries, nerve repair, Dupuytren's contracture release, and carpal tunnel surgery. He coordinates interdisciplinary care with physiotherapy for hand rehabilitation following surgery.

Owen King EU Hospital is Saint Lucia's flagship hospital, jointly funded by the European Union and the Government of Saint Lucia, offering modern facilities and international standards of care.
