Dr. Milan Jovanović is a senior interventional cardiologist at the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade, the country's leading tertiary medical center. With 20 years of clinical experience, he has performed over 4,000 coronary interventions and is one of Serbia's most respected cardiologists.
Dr. Jovanović completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University Hospital Essen in Germany, gaining expertise in complex coronary interventions and cutting-edge PCI techniques. He returned to Belgrade where he leads the interventional cardiology unit at the Clinical Center of Serbia, managing a high-volume catheterization laboratory. He is an active member of the Serbian Cardiology Society and represents Serbia in European Society of Cardiology working groups.

Education & Training
Dr. Jovanović graduated from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his cardiology residency at the Clinical Center of Serbia and undertook an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University Hospital Essen (Universitätsklinikum Essen), Germany (2006–2008). His PhD from the University of Belgrade in 2010 focused on outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with diabetes. He is certified by the Serbian Medical Chamber in internal medicine and cardiology.

Dr. Jovanović specializes in complex coronary interventions including bifurcation PCI, chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures, and left main coronary artery interventions. He uses intravascular imaging (IVUS and OCT) and physiological coronary assessment (FFR/iFR) to guide complex procedures. He performs comprehensive echocardiography and manages the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease from acute myocardial infarction to chronic stable angina and heart failure. He also manages pacemaker and ICD follow-up in collaboration with electrophysiologists.
