Dr. Ali Al Obaidli is a senior consultant nephrologist based at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City — one of the UAE's flagship academic medical districts and home to internationally accredited hospitals. Dr. Al Obaidli manages the complete continuum of chronic kidney disease from early CKD through to end-stage renal disease. In glomerulonephritis, he diagnoses and treats IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), lupus nephritis, and ANCA-associated vasculitis. He performs kidney biopsies and interprets histopathological results to guide immunosuppressive therapy.

In dialysis medicine, he initiates and manages patients on both haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, including planning of vascular access (arteriovenous fistulae and grafts) in coordination with vascular surgery.
