Calvary Health Care ACT is a fully accredited 364 bed public and private hospital located in a beautiful bushland setting in the northern suburbs of Canberra. Recently refurbished, Calvary is a modern facility with contemporary team-based care and cutting edge technology. Calvary continues to grow and develop as we improve our services today and prepare for the services of tomorrow. Calvary enjoys a reputation in the Canberra community for exemplary care. Services include a busy Emergency Department, an Intensive & Coronary Care Unit, Medical and Surgical wards, a Maternity Unit and a voluntary Psychiatric ward. It is a modern healthcare service with its centrepiece being a 250-bed public general hospital that is a teaching hospital associated with The Australian Catholic University, the Australian National University and the University of Canberra. The complex also has a co-located 95-bed private hospital and a 19-bed hospice - Clare Holland House - located a short distance away from the hospital campus in an idyllic setting on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
