The Polyclinic was founded in 2002 on the grounds of a private ophthalmology practice owned by Ph.D. Nadežda Bilić MD. Having spent more than 20 years working as the resident ophthalmologist in the Zagreb "Sisters of Mercy" clinic, Doctor Bilić established her own practice in 1996.
By investing into specialization of her staff and by hiring new practicioners, Doctor Bilić managed to expand the range of services while maintaining top quality standards of ophthalmological services for which the Polyclinic has always been well-known.

Defended Master's and Doctoral theses in the area of diabetes and its manifestations in the eye. Lecturer at the postgraduate level in the Faculty of Medicine on the subjects of Occupational Medicine - Ophthalmology and Insurance Medicine - Ophthalmology. Dr.Dražen Grgic MD. Specialist ophthalmologist is a highly specialized expert in the rear eye segment with a long-term clinical experience in treatment of patients with diabetes and patients with occlusive and vascular eye diseases. Accomplished in working with lasers, diagnostics and the entire eye treatment, especially medical retina (fluorescein angiography, OCT, intravitreal drug injection, etc).
