Hinduja National Hospital — formally known as P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre — is one of Mumbai's most historic and trusted healthcare institutions. Founded in 1951 by the philanthropist Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, the hospital was established with a mission to provide quality healthcare to all sections of society including the economically disadvantaged. Over 70+ years, it has grown into a 351-bed tertiary care centre with 35+ specialties and a research wing in collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Boston, USA. The hospital's clinical services span over 35 specialties: cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, medical and surgical oncology, radiation oncology, nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, hepatology, pulmonology, orthopaedics and trauma, obstetrics and gynaecology, infertility and reproductive medicine, paediatrics and neonatology, ENT surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, plastic surgery, psychiatry and psychology, endocrinology, diabetology, immunology, haematology, rheumatology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. The hospital is a training institution recognised by the National Board of Examinations in 22 specialties.

Hinduja National Hospital provides 351 beds including 53 critical care beds, multiple operation theatres, a cardiac catheterisation lab, a nuclear medicine unit (including PET-CT and a gamma camera), a 32-channel high-resolution MRI with TIM technology, advanced radiation oncology (LINAC), comprehensive endoscopy and bronchoscopy suite, electrophysiology lab, apheresis unit, IVF laboratory, a blood bank, histopathology and molecular biology laboratory, and a dedicated health check-up centre for executives.
