About Hospital Punta Pacifica

Hospital Punta Pacifica is a newly constructed hospital located in the heart of one of the most prominent areas of Panama City. The hospital is the only digitally connected hospital in the geographic region, and offers the highest quality of medical services. The staff at Hospital Punta Pacifica is highly trained in all areas. Many staff physicians working at the complex have been either trained in the United States or Europe and have international certifications.

Hospital Punta Pacifica was constructed in March 2006 and is equipped with state-of-the-art, high-quality machines. The digital facility provides patients with advantages in a number of different areas. Videoconferencing equipment allows our physicians to confer remotely with other physicians abroad over sharp and clear images of patient tests, X-Rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Mobile laptops are made available to nurses and doctors, making possible bedside recordings of patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and medication requirements.

Hospital Punta Pacifica was born from the hopes and dreams of a group of Panamanian physicians. These specialists, in association with notable businessmen, wanted to provide Panama, Latin America and the world with a world-class digital hospital possessing the highest standards of quality, care, security and technology. Hospital Punta Pacifica has a state-of-the-art facilities and systems supported by one of the best hospitals in the world, Johns Hopkins Medicine International.
