American Hospital

Turkey's first, general, not -for profit hospital The American Hospital and School of Nursing, was established by Admiral L. Bristol in 1920. With its 300 bed capacity, the American Hospital continues to develop and give the best quality of services within each specialty of modern medicine. Each year the VKF American Hospital serves 131.000 patients. Seeking care, they come from all over Turkey and various parts of the world.

The VKF American Hospital is located in Nişantaşı, İstanbul's most central residential and business section. It is a health complex located on 11.000 m² of land, with a covered area of 47.400 m². The VKF American Hospital offers diagnostic, inpatient and outpatient care in 38 medical specialities. Its 24 hour service at international standards is given by 500 physician specialists and a health care and support service staff of 1.1500 persons. The world standard services are provided with the support of the most modern medical equipment and systems.
